Greetings! My name is Katherine Brown and welcome to my e-folio.

In May 2006, I received an MPH degree from San Francisco State University's Masters of Public Health in Health Education Program. With this portfolio, I will demonstrate my work in relation to our program's core competencies; ranging from in-class course work, to active practice amongst diverse communities.

Through my work with adult African-American women affected by breast and cervical cancer, my passion of advocating for the health and well-being of this community has been enriched and strengthened through the community education and social justice framework of our program.
